Qualifications and Education

Essential

  • GDC Registered: BSc Dental Technology or a Foundation degree or an equivalent qualification recognized by the General Dental Council;
  • Current Statutory Registration as a Professional Complimentary to Dentistry with the General Dental Council;
  • Ensuring adherence to mandatory training prerequisites for GDC Registration and maintaining current records accessible for inspection.

Desirable

Possession of a professional diploma or an equivalent credential in one or more pertinent fields, such as orthodontics or prosthetics

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Extensive experience in the fabrication of complex removable prosthodontics following qualification.
  • Experienced in the design and construction of commonplace appliances.

Desirable

  • Proficient in the fabrication of fixed prosthodontics.
  • Knowledge of implant systems and implant-retained prostheses.
  • Knowledge of intricate orthodontic appliances
  • Hospital unit experience with a diverse array of cases.
