Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient daily operation of the mortuary department.
- Receive and release deceased individuals in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Accurately record valuables and personal property.
- Prepare deceased individuals for viewing and ensure the mortuary remains clean and well-maintained.
- Complete daily worksheets and participate in monthly audits.
- Communicate effectively with bereaved families, medical examiners, hospital wards, and the Coroner’s Service.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, including patient or relative interactions.
- Ability to travel between Health Board sites as required.

- Level 3 Pathology Diploma.
- Understanding of the Human Tissue Act.
