Duties of Diabetes Assistant Practitioner Jobs in UK

The project’s specific goal will be to enhance North Pembrokeshire’s NICE-recommended care procedures as per the National Diabetic Audit. In order to expedite proactive foot checks and foot health surveillance, phlebotomy, recording of vital signs, weight checks, ankle-brachial pressure index (ABPI) testing, smoking cessation advice, diabetic education, and communicating with diabetic podiatry, vascular, and retinopathy services, Diabetes Assistant Practitioner will collaborate with the CNS team as well as primary and community colleagues.

Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential

• A Certificate in Health Care Support Worker Education or a Level 4 Vocational Qualification in a Relevant Health Care-Associated Subject
