Role Overview:

As a Dietetic Assistant Practitioner, you will primarily support the delivery of nutritional care for surgical, thoracic, and cardiology patients. Your work will involve nutrition screening (using the MUST tool) and nutritional monitoring of inpatients. Additionally, you will work closely with dietitians to manage nutritional care plans at the ward level and ensure that patients are referred to appropriate services upon discharge.

This role includes administrative responsibilities, such as participating in Trust Nutrition groups, assisting with the catering service, and supporting the dietetic team in data collection and analysis for audits.
