Responsibilities of Support Time and Recovery Worker Jobs in UK

  • To provide support, guidance, and communication to Foundation STR Workers as part of the Foundation Workers’ comprehensive support and development program.
  • To foster the recovery and independent living of service consumers in the community in a positive manner.
  • To facilitate the effective engagement of service users with their individual person-centered care plan and to facilitate the provision of feedback to their care coordinators regarding the care plan
  • To be accountable for coordinating with and furnishing information to other organizations that are involved in the service user’s support.
  • To uphold the recovery principles and thereby assist and facilitate the regaining of control, responsibility, hope, and enjoyment by individuals.
  • To cultivate meaningful relationships with service users within transparent and appropriate boundaries, and to utilize supervision and support to facilitate these relationships.
  • To offer consistent and practical assistance to service users and their caregivers (as needed) in the development and maintenance of independence, as well as the preservation of self-respect and dignity. This encompasses assistance with daily activities.
  • To collaborate with other individuals and organizations to assist service users in addressing their comprehensive requirements, including education, welfare, financial, leisure, housing, and spirituality.
  • To foster spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health.

  • To participate in the development of services as an equal partner with service consumers and caregivers.
