The Eating Disorders Service is currently seeking a qualified, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join the team in West Essex, which encompasses the principal communities of Harlow, Loughton, Stansted, and the surrounding area. The service is broadening its scope of physical health services. The postholder will perform physical health checks on patients under the service to monitor their health. These checks will include ECGs, phlebotomies, blood glucose monitoring, and weight and height measurements.
Throughout the county, the Eating Disorders Service is operational, with its two primary administrative bases being Basildon and Colchester. The locations in which patients are seen are determined by their level of need. The service maintains a close relationship with acute hospitals, general practitioners, mental health teams, and third- and voluntary sector organizations.
