This thrilling position will provide assistance to our Social Care OT service by triaging and processing incoming referrals to ensure that they satisfy the criteria and are appropriate for our service. An initial assessment that is focused will be conducted over the phone, and rudimentary equipment will be provided as needed.

Previous experience in community occupational therapy or social care would be advantageous for applicants.

Our Occupational Therapy Service provides services to adults in South Staffordshire who have long-term physical disabilities and require social assistance. We conduct home visits to individuals, ensuring that their environment is accessible and their independence is preserved through the provision of equipment and minor adaptations.

In accordance with the objectives of the Care Act 2014, occupational therapy offers the necessary resources to enhance individuals’ autonomy.

Experience and knowledge of electronic case record keeping would also be advantageous.

Qualifications and Training
