  • Comprehensive understanding of the visual pathway and its correlation with visual field defects in various pathologies
  • Proficient in the operation of the Humphrey visual field analyzer
  • The individual must be able to confidently and proficiently image the retina, optic discs, and corneas of patients using a variety of instruments, such as a fundus camera and software programs for retinal photography. They should also be certified.
  • Clear and effective communication is essential for elucidating tests for patients who may have hearing impairments or other obstacles to comprehension.
