A driving license and vehicle are required to enable the ability to travel across the extensive area we serve, as this is essential to the position.

The positions will encompass a diverse array of training opportunities, such as training in supportive feeding, crisis support, CBT-E, and family-based treatment.

Additionally, we will provide opportunities to access our comprehensive CAMHS training curriculum, in addition to providing regular individual and group supervision. Duties of Community Support Worker Jobs in UK

• Our service is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., including weekends, enabling us to provide heightened levels of support to young people and their families.
• As an extension of the Community CAMHS Care Program, we offer short-term intensive home treatment for approximately six weeks.
• Our objective is to assist young individuals and their families in preventing inpatient admissions whenever feasible and to facilitate their recovery in a home environment.
• Currently, the team is composed of a competent combination of Band 4 Support Workers and Mental Health Practitioners in Bands 7 and 6.
• We endeavor to collaborate in pairs whenever feasible; however, there are instances in which you may be required to operate independently with indirect support and guidance from a registered practitioner.
• This position will be located within a specialized CAMHS eating disorder service, which provides a genuine opportunity to enhance your current skills and knowledge base through direct work and specialized training, as well as to acquire new skills.
