  • The 0-19 Community Nursery Nurse will be accountable for the following:
  • Offering a comprehensive service to families and children aged 0 to 19, under the supervision of a member of the HCP Team
  • Assisting the 0-19 team in the execution of the 0-19 service specification.
  • Participating in initiatives that prioritize the well-being of the local populace.
  • Delivering interventions in accordance with the 0-19 team’s agreement to provide assistance to children and their families.

Responsibilities of Community Nursery Nurse Jobs in UK

To implement intervention programs or packages of care with children and families that have been planned by the health visitors or school nurses following an assessment of need, and to deliver elements of the 0-19 service specification under the supervision of the 0-19 team using evidence-based tools.

To adhere to the joint plan established by the health visitor or school nurse and the parent or caregiver for the provision of interventions and support to children and families with identified additional needs, vulnerabilities, or safeguarding concerns.

To collaborate with the local community’s Early Years (Best Start), Children’s Centers, Multi-Agency Support Team (MAST), and other agencies and partners to evaluate, identify, and address the public health requirements of the children and families within the community.
